Leavers WA 2026

Monday, 23 to Friday, 27 November

Leavers is a chance for students who have completed their Year 12 studies or an equivalent qualification in Western Australia to come together and celebrate the end of their schooling with friends.

On this website you will find helpful information to support your planning, including:

  • Guidance on how to plan for Leavers, from travel and accommodation through to staying safe and looking after your mates.
  • Details about the Leavers wristband, how it works and the official link to purchase it.
  • A reminder that wristbands can only be bought through this authorised site to avoid counterfeit or invalid wristbands.
  • Information and advice for parents and guardians, including what Police expect from young people and how families can help them prepare.
  • Practical tips and resources to help you stay safe during Leavers, plus where to go for assistance if you need support at any time. For regular updates and announcements, follow the Leavers WA Facebook page or the Leavers WA Instagram page.

The State Government Leavers WA Strategy provides a coordinated harm minimisation approach to Leavers celebrations.

Accommodation and activities that occur outside the official Strategy or take place in other locations, such as boat parties or pre and post Leavers events, are not supported by the WA Police Force, the Department of Health or partner organisations.

Attendance at all Leavers WA events is voluntary and subject to the conditions of entry.
